As the rain stops pouring, those few extra degrees of warmth will make way for plenty of perfect days in Dolores Park or Baker Beach.<\/p>\n<p>April and May start off the many festivals yet to come, as San Franciscans break out their costumes like it\u2019s permanently Halloween. Though you can never run out of things to do in the city by the bay, these festivals come only once a year. Make the most of your spring in San Francisco and don\u2019t miss any of these events.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfjapantown.org\/Events\/cherry.cfm\">Cherry Blossom Festival<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When: April 14, 15, 21, 22, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Where: Japantown<\/p>\n<p>What: See the best of Japanese culture with Japanese music, tea ceremonies, and martial arts closing with the giant parade on the final day.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfjazz.org\/sfjazz-spring-season-2012\">SFJAZZ Spring Season Concerts<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.california-tour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/sfjazz.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-4449\" title=\"my saxo and i\" src=\"http:\/\/www.california-tour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/sfjazz-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/usastudenttour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/sfjazz-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/usastudenttour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/sfjazz.jpg 566w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When: Now through June 2012<\/p>\n<p>Where: Throughout San Francisco<\/p>\n<p>What: Jazz bands from all over the world display their talents at concerts through San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfcincodemayo.com\/\">Cinco de Mayo<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When: May 5, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Where: Dolores Park<\/p>\n<p>What: Join in the celebration of Mexican culture with mariachi music, Mexican folk dance, and salsa bands.<strong>\u00a0 <\/strong>There\u2019s even a Zumbathon if you want to get a workout.\u00a0 If you get a chance check out the murals on 24<sup>th<\/sup> Street in the Mission when you\u2019re done and eat a burrito at El Farolito.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.california-tour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/mexican1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4572 aligncenter\" title=\"SONY DSC\" src=\"http:\/\/www.california-tour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/mexican1-300x171.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"171\" srcset=\"https:\/\/usastudenttour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/mexican1-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/usastudenttour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/mexican1-620x353.jpg 620w, https:\/\/usastudenttour.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/mexican1.jpg 917w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sffineartfair.com\/\">San Francisco Fine Art Fair<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When: May 17-20, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Where: Fort Mason<\/p>\n<p>What: Contemporary galleries take over Fort Mason exhibiting fine art, including indoor and outdoor sculptures, installations, and entertainment.\u00a0 Tickets required.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/zazzlebaytobreakers.com\/\">Bay to Breakers<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When: May 20, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Where: From South Beach to Ocean Beach<\/p>\n<p>What: The race starts from South Beach and ends in Ocean Beach but most San Franciscans come to walk the length of the city in costumes taking on the spirit of Mardi Gras.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sfcarnaval.org\/\">Carnaval<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When: May 26 and 27, 2012<\/p>\n<p>Where: Harrison Street between 23rd Street &amp; 16th Street in the Mission District<\/p>\n<p>What: Latin dance groups and musicians give performances in elaborate costumes for this Brazilian-themed festival.
