Dinner on own. Suggest guided tour in Los Angeles over self guided driving due to complex freeway system and distance between destinations within Los Angeles

Once in Santa Barbara we recommend the visit to several landmarks like, the Courthouse, Stern Wharf, Santa Barbara Beach and State Street.

- Drive through the California Coast to Carmel we recommend stops at the colorful beach towns of Pismo Beach and Morro Bay.
During early afternoon we recommend a stop at Hearst
On your way to Big Sur a must stop is Rocky Point, where you’ll be able to take panoramic pictures of the Pacific Ocean. While at Rocky Point you could have lunch or keep driving up California Highway 1 to other recommended restaurants like Napenthe or Post Ranch.
Overnight in Carmel with Carmel Mission Inn or equivalent - Day 9
- Suggest morning visit to Carmel, Carmel Mission and drive to Monterey via 17 Mile Drive.
