From the vibrant neighborhoods of North Beach and Chinatown and Fisherman’s Wharf to the natural wonders of Treasure Island and the Golden Gate, San Francisco will capture your heart. As the golden hills of the Napa and Sonoma valleys undulate over the horizon, you’ll sip a dry Chardonnay and wonder why you hadn’t visited before! Learn about winemaking at some of California’s finest vintners. Across the Golden Gate Bridge you’ll find Marin County, home of Muir Woods and Sausalito. You’ll reconnect with nature among the redwoods of Muir Woods, and then you’ll descend to the charming artist colony of Sausalito. Originally a Portuguese fishing village, Sausalito offers fantastic views of San Francisco, fresh seafood and fine art.
Upon arrival at famous John Steinbeck’s literary setting, your group will proceed to sightseeing of the Monterey Peninsula and Fisherman’s Wharf. Lunch is on own at the Cannery Row in Monterey or at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Afterwards, touring along the winding roads of the picturesque 17-Mile Drive in the privately owned Del Monte Forest will be an unforgettable experience. Spend part of the day touring the famous Hearst Castle and shopping in the quaint Dutch town of Solvang.
Continue the coastal tour down to picturesque coastal community of Santa Barbara. This charming and culturally rich city has been the weekend getaway destination for many of Los Angeles’ affluent residents. You’ll see why with its fantastic shopping and incredible dining options.
